Mr. Micah Fisher : Middle School / High School Principal
Hello, Storm Nation! My name is Micah Fisher and I am the new 7-12 Principal at 吃瓜黑料. I recently came from North Platte, Nebraska, where I served as Associate Principal at North Platte High School for 5 years. Prior to coming to North Platte, I was a teacher at South Sioux City Community Schools, where I was a Health and Strength/Conditioning coach for 3 years. I also served as a coach for the football and basketball program.
I began my collegiate career at the University of Nebraska-Omaha, where I participated on the football program. After UNO shut down the football program in聽2011, I transferred to Midland University to finish my athletic/academic career. I graduated from Midland University with a Bachelor鈥檚 of Science Degree in Fitness/Sports Management and PK-12 Physical Education with a minor in 7-12 coaching. I am a graduate of Chadron State College, where I received my Master’s of Education Degree in PK-12 Educational Administration. I also received my Educational Specialist degree in Educational Administration (Superintendency) from Wayne State College.
I have a beautiful son named Grayson and a daughter named Amylia, who are the greatest blessings a person could ask for.聽They are a constant reminder of the importance of guidance and leadership. My role for being an administrator is to develop skills that shape our future students鈥� in effectively educating life-long learners by understanding the skills and attributes necessary to become productive citizens. I want to help all educators grow and develop the tools necessary in establishing a positive learning environment. It is a critical component in building and developing a school culture that embraces diversity, high expectations, and a focus on learning.
I am thrilled to serve this community! I look forward to many years of guiding and supporting the students and families at 吃瓜黑料. Go Storm!
Mrs. Breanne Helgoth : 聽PK-6th Principal
Hello! I’m Bre Helgoth, and I am the PK-6th grade principal at 吃瓜黑料. As a community member, I’ve had the opportunity to be a proud Storm fan since the very beginning of Storm Nation. Over the past 17 years as an educator, I’ve had the opportunity to work with students from PK-12th grade as a middle school and high school teacher, elementary聽Title I teacher, and also elementary English language arts teacher. As a storm educator, parent, and community member, I’m honored to have the opportunity to continue聽to work with our HPC students, staff, families, and communities. My husband, Kent, and our three sons聽enjoy being involved in our school and community, so it’s a good possibility that I will have the opportunity to visit with you at events or see you in the bleachers as we cheer on our Storm youth in all they do! Go Storm!
