Criminal Justice Transfer Major

Study and understand the three main elements of the justice system: the courts, law enforcement and corrections. The study of criminal justice involves research methods for criminology, criminological theory and the psychology behind criminal behavior. The criminal justice transfer program provides a well-rounded liberal arts and social sciences-focused education in addition to criminal justice topic areas. The program provides a foundation for advanced study in many criminal justice areas, including juvenile justice, criminal law, corrections, the judicial process and crime prevention. This program fulfills the first two years of a four-year degree. Agreements with four-year colleges ensure your credits transfer.
